The flagship Australian Paul and Joe shore echoes the extravagance of the 1960’s with the modern day Parisian chic. It is filled with playful, yet sophisticated fittings/materials, a quirky and fun backdrop to the clothing collection. The glowing element of the store allowed us to explore reflective materials, use of concealed and exposed lighting within the space. The playful nature of the collection and brand allowed us freedom to design a store that has its own identity within its surroundings
The design periods of Art Nouveau, Art Deco & the 1960’s in particular punctuate the space. The use of elegant materials including brass, limed timber floors, vintage pendant, laser cut metal wall panels assist in creating a sophisticated and glowing store, whilst the bright digital tapestry wallpaper and mirrored butterfly clothes hooks create a playful element to the store.
